Have you ever thought of a song,
But you can never think of the melody,
Or when the last time you heard the song?
Have you ever forgotten what you wanted to say,
And had it all planned out?
Do you ever watch a show,
And had it all planned out?
Do you ever watch a show,
And memorize one of the lines,
Like it's a monologue?
Like it's a monologue?

I am able to remember lines from plays I memorized.
I can remember lines from shows.
I can remember songs from musicals and music I listen to.
I just hate to forget what the melody is, or the words I wanted to say for a presentation.
Why?

Me too I hate forgetting the melody. It sucks a lot.
This is so clear it's confusing. What inspired you for this description?
The good doctor.
Well Evangeline, I was remembering how life could be forgetful, times with your memory and times to remember. When writing this I thought this was gonna be helpful for everyone with the heart of an actor or actress. Asher Kwain, it was awesome you knew that, because when I watched the first episode I almost cried, because it was that good of an episode. Yeah, I agree with you Brent Robinson, when in plays I always thought I would forget my lines, but somehow remember, or in your case, when in band class I will be playing a piece of music and totally forget the melody! It sucks!
